Salinas Valley Federation of Teachers (SVFT), your local Union, would like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year in the Salinas Valley.

2022-2023 looks to be a year of transition for our profession and community. If you are new to education, we welcome you to our community. If you are a returning SVFT member, be assured that we will continue to advocate and fight for the working conditions that keep you physically safe, while advocating for working environments that facilitate learning for all students. There will continue to be unknowns, but through it all, SVFT will be here for you. Each site in the district has representatives who are here to support you as you transition to a new year.

As public educators, we are the guardians of our democratic principles such as dignity, equal rights, tolerance of diversity, and civility. As Salinas Valley Federation of Teachers, we stand by these principles and we invite you to get involved with the Union and the activities that will bring you into the community and the community to us.
